PnF Wrap Up

Dear Families,

Can you believe that the 2024 school year is nearly over? Once again, its been a very busy year for the PNF committee and all involved in planning and delivering the many activities which makes our wonderful school community. 

This year has been an exceptional year, not least because we celebrated St. Mary's centennial year, which the children celebrated with many fun activities, reminding our children what it may have been like going to school 100 years ago. Parents and teachers also did not miss out on the fun, thanks to our fantastic major fundraising committee, aka Clare Kroussoratis and Marisa Vincent, who alone organised the most fantastic Centennial Ball, which not only was a great night and a lot of fun, but also raised almost $7,000 towards the PNF fundraising target. An incredible effort, wouldn't you say.

Speaking of fundraising, the 2024 PNF committee are delighted to announce that almost $32,000 was raised in 2024 from all the wonderful events, led and organised by all of the Parent Reps and support and fundraising from many other parents. A significant amount of dedication, effort and personal time is volunteered and dedicated to making these events successful. Some events are planned by only 1 or 2 individuals (Battle of the Boots, Annual Gala, Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, Uniform sales to name a few), and so a huge thank you is deserved for each and every PNF individual who contributed this year.

Also our wonderful Hampton Community has been so generous in donating vouchers and prizes which is most humbly and gratefully appreciated. Look out for 'Thank You' notes, which we will be handing out to all our wonderful community donators very soon.

St. Mary's leadership are already on the case with how to invest these funds in 2025, with the remodelling of the back staircase high on the priority list.

Last, but not least, look out for the Operoo notice, requesting early nominations for 2025 Parent Reps. We kindly encourage your support and participation, so we can continue to enhance our school community and reputation, and importantly, make 2025 another fun year for our children, staff and parents.
