St Simon the Apostle 2025 Swimming Squad : Wantirna District
Competitors are allowed a maximum of 2 individual events as well as relay events and the butterfly event. Only competitors only in the A event who come either 1st or 2nd progress through to Knox Division competition
EMERGENCY COMPETITORS LIST
Emergency competitors listed below will be used in the event a student is ill or unavailable to attend the District Swimming Carnival. These will be at the discretion of the Interschool Sport Coordinator. Payment for the event is only required if you are listed in the St Simon the Apostle 2024 Swimming Squad on the previous page.
ST SIMON SWIMMING SQUAD TRAINING
We encourage all students to attend the training session on offer so they are prepared for their selected strokes in the competition. We will be providing 3 before school training sessions at Dandenong Oasis, Dandenong North.
These sessions will take place on the following dates and times:
Students will need to bring their bathers, goggles, and a towel to these training sessions. A St Simon staff member will be present to support the students in their training.
Students will need to be collected from the Dandenong Oasis pool no later than 8:30am so that you have ample time to transport your child to school. We ask parents to be present at the pool during the training sessions.
If any students are unable to attend due to illness on the day of the District Carnival please contact Mr Karl Camerino as soon as possible so a replacement competitor can be arranged.

Knox Division AFL Girls Competition - Thursday 22nd May (Term 2 Week 5)
Knox Division Cross Country Championships - Wednesday 28th May (Term 2 Week 6)
Wantirna District Winter Sports (Year 5 & 6) - Day 1 - Tuesday 3rd June (Term 2 Week 7)
Wantirna District Winter Sports (Year 5 & 6) - Day 2 - Friday 20th June (Term 2 Week 9)
TERM 3
Wantirna District Summer Sports (Year 5 & 6) - Day 1 - Friday 29th August (Term 3 Week 6)
Wantirna District Summer Sports (Year 5 & 6) - Day 2 - Tuesday 16th September (Term 3 Week 9)
Knox Division Cross Country Championships - Wednesday 17th September (Term 3 Week 10)
Division Summer Sports are set for the 2nd and 3rd weeks of Term 2 and Term 3.
Regional Sport will be advertised as per the SSV Eastern Regional Metropolitan website.
