Year 1 Afternoon Tea

On Tuesday 21 October the Year 1 students stayed at school with their teacher's and all met in the Prep -2 Community Building to share an afternoon tea of fruit and popcorn.

After filling their bellies, they headed for the oval to partake in a game session. The students really enjoyed weaving through hula-hoops, dressing-up in a relay, playing tunnel ball and Rob the nest ' and finally the biggest challenge of all... exploring the new Ninja Warrior course

There was a lot of laughter and smiling faces throughout the afternoon and at 5:00 pm when pickup time came the happy but tired students said they had a great afternoon. This extended day is great preparation for the Stay Late in Year 2 and future camps in Year 3 and beyond!
