WELCOME TERM 4

Term 4 has brought a fresh sense of colour and calm to the College Resource Library! Our space has been refreshed with vibrant spring-themed displays celebrating growth, creativity, and wellness, alongside new magazines and seasonal book collections for students to explore.

Students have been enjoying our regular lunchtime clubs, including Board Games Club, Creators Club, and Silent Library Fridays, offering a mix of relaxation, creativity, and connection throughout the week. This term, Creators Club has embraced the season with spring-inspired crafts, encouraging students to get hands-on and creative while enjoying the warmer days ahead.

We invite everyone to drop by, take in our colourful displays, and enjoy a peaceful moment surrounded by stories and inspiration. There’s always something new to discover in the library this spring!

LIBRARY SESSION HIGHLIGHTS

LIBRARY LUNCHTIME CLUBS

This term, the College Resource Library has been buzzing with activity during lunchtime! Students have enjoyed relaxing and connecting through Board Games Club, getting creative in Creator's Club, and taking time out with Silent Library Fridays, a perfect quiet escape as the weather warms up. These sessions continue to offer students from Prep to Year 12 a fun and welcoming space to unwind and enjoy their library.

TERM 4 LIBRARY MONITORS

The College Resource Library would like to announce our Term 4 Library Monitors, congratulations to Natasha C, Emily V (5/6), Ellie W, and Madison C (3/4). We look forward to working together with these students this term.

This program is facilitated by library staff and gives students from Grade 3 to Year 12 an opportunity at an extracurricular leadership role within the college. Library Monitors are responsible for a range of roles within the library space, including shelving books, keeping the space tidy, assisting with displays, brainstorming new programs with staff, and so much more.

NEW SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB

Issue 7 of the Scholastic Book Club is due today! If you wish to put in an order, please make sure it is submitted online or returned by today, Friday 24 October. Catalogues have been provided to classroom teachers (Primary), the college library (Algabonya), the office (Dungala), and the Fischer Building.
