26 September Applications Close: Mindscape - Youth Awards Surrealism Competition
MINDSCAPE is a Surrealism, Visionary, and Fantasy Art Competition open to West Australian high school art students ages 14 to 18 (year 10-year 12). Entry is FREE and finalists will be invited to exhibit. More information and entry forms are available HERE.

27 September UWA Day of Percussion
Led by some Australia’s finest percussionists, including UWA Chair of Percussion Paul Tanner, the UWA Day of Percussion is jam packed with masterclasses, workshops and performances for percussionists of all ages and skill levels.
There will be 3 streams on the day, if you are unsure which level is best for you, please get in touch!
- SENIOR: Percussionists studying for their ATAR exams, or high school students who feel comfortable learning new concepts.
- INTERMEDIATE: High school students who have been learning for 2 years or more
- JUNIOR: Students learning for less than 2 years, including primary school students.

4 & 5 October Mandurah's Got Talent! is open to solo acts as well as groups, ensembles and choirs.

- Sun, 5 Oct from 10.30am to 5pm Piano, Voice and Arrangement & Composition Competitors
Each solo act, group, ensemble and choir will be allocated a timeslot to showcase their talents, and we welcome all artists to perform works at all stages of development - from its first time in front of an audience to seasoned, polished works and performances.

WAAPA Music Theatre Workshops Years 7 – 12
We welcome passionate performers eager to challenge themselves and grow in a nurturing environment surrounded by supportive peers and seasoned professionals. This course is designed for all experience levels, allowing students to progress at their own pace while pushing their creative boundaries.

WAAPA The Actors’ Workshop
The Actor’s Workshop supports students in building self-confidence as they put their abilities into action on both stage and screen. Participants will develop ensemble skills and the confidence needed to collaborate and work as part of a team. They will be guided by experienced teachers, who aim to challenge students in a respectful and encouraging environment, allowing them to develop their talent and abilities.
Students are divided into Junior (Yr 7 to 9) and Senior (Yr 10 to 12) groups. Bookings are done on a term-by-term basis.
