Principal's Report

Dear families,

Term 4 started on a high note with our school disco, which was an absolute hit with our students and families. We had 34 students and 28 parents attend, and the atmosphere was full of laughter, smiles, and dance moves that lit up the hall. Events like these are a reminder of what makes our school so special, the sense of community, belonging, and joy that comes from spending time together. A big thank you to everyone who helped set up, pack away, and support the evening, it truly reflected our school values of Care, Courage, and Cooperation. A special thank you to Trudy Horton and Matt Thompson for sponsoring the disco.

We also invite all parents and carers to take part in our upcoming Listening Groups on Wednesday, 29 October at 9:00 a.m. or Thursday, 30 October at 2:00 p.m. These sessions are an opportunity to reflect on our successes from 2025 and share ideas for where we are heading in 2026. We value the voice of our families, and your feedback plays an important role in shaping the direction of our school programs and priorities. Light refreshments will be available 😊

This term we are also looking forward to celebrating Grandparents Day on Friday, 24 October. It is always a special event where we recognise the love, wisdom, and support our grandparents bring to the lives of our students. We welcome all of our grandparents to visit us on Friday.

As we approach World Teachers’ Day, I would like to take a moment to thank our amazing staff for their unwavering dedication and hard work. They bring heart, creativity, and care into every lesson and make a lasting difference in the lives of our students.

Our primary students are showing courage, persistence, and enthusiasm in their weekly swimming program.

Thank you for your continued support as we enjoy another busy, rewarding term together.

Kind regards,

Dehlia Dawson
