From Classroom to Workshop: Welcoming Tomorrow’s Talent at Hydratight
Over the past eighteen months, our Hydratight had the pleasure of hosting Bryce Lunas, a student from St Norbert College one day per week for his work experience placement. The partnership between St Norbert College and Hydratight continues to deliver real-world impact for both students and industry. In total Bryce completed 36 days of work experience at Hydratight.
The work placement wrapped up with a presentation where Bryce shared his journey, learnings, and reflections with Hydratight managers, supervisors, and a school representative. His experience highlighted the value of stepping into a professional environment and gaining hands-on exposure to industrial operations.
💡 Why This Matters
At Hydratight, we believe in investing in the next generation and through our partnership with St Norbert’s, students gain:
✅Practical, transferable skills✅Exposure to industries they may not have considered✅Confidence and clarity around future career paths
And for Hydratight, the benefits are just as powerful:
✅ We strengthen our talent pipeline✅ Our teams grow through mentorship and leadership opportunities✅ We gain fresh perspectives and new ideas✅ We reinforce our commitment to community and workforce development
These placements are more than just work experience, they are an opportunity to inspire, connect, and build the future of our industry. We wish Bryce Lunas all the best with his future.
👏 A big thank you to St Norbert College for their continued collaboration, and to our team for creating a welcoming and enriching environment for young talent.
