Congratulations to the entire team on a fantastic effort. A special thank you goes to the ACC for hosting another outstanding event and to our PE staff for their organisation and support on the day.
Community Cup 2025
Our annual Community Cup was held last week, welcoming four primary schools to our grounds for a Basketball and Football carnival. The event was proudly hosted by some of our Specialist students and provided an exciting opportunity for the visiting students to compete in a fun, supportive, and safe environment.
We extend our sincere thanks to St Joseph’s, St Emilie’s, St Vincent’s, and Sacred Heart Primary Schools for their participation and ongoing support of this event.
Congratulations to all students who took part, and a special mention to St Vincent’s Primary School, who were crowned the overall winners of the day.

Football
The outdoor football season has now come to an end, and what an incredible journey it has been. Across Terms 2 and 3, our students took part in 32 after-school fixtures across just 15 weeks. This level of commitment is a big achievement, and it highlights not only the passion of our players but also the dedication of our families. A huge thank you must go to our parents for their ongoing support, not only with late pick-ups after games, but also in ensuring students are at morning training on time.
It has been great to see many of our players choose to represent the College first, before heading straight to their club matches later that same evening. This level of commitment is greatly appreciated and reflects the strength of the culture we are building within the program, one where pride in the College shirt is held in the highest regard.
On Wednesday 24 September, we were able to share these efforts with the wider school community at Assembly. A special highlights package was played, showcasing some of the wonderful goals scored throughout the season. The atmosphere was fantastic as we celebrated some of the year’s standout moments, including:
Save of the Season: Jack Jennings – with a perfectly timed tip-over the bar against Lynwood A for the Intermediate Boys.
Goal of the Season (3rd place): Levi Saunders – a sharp finish for the ACC Senior Boys against Emmanuel.
Goal of the Season (2nd place): Ryan Horrill – a thunderous free kick against South Coast A for the Junior Boys.
Goal of the Season (Winner): Stirling Hatton – a brilliant solo run and finish against Emmanuel for the Senior Boys.
These moments remind us of the talent within our program. Each goal and save reflects not just individual brilliance, but also the collective growth of our students as footballers and as leaders within the College community.
Looking ahead to Term 4, the program remains busy. Our Year 7 students will be competing in the ACC Super Series, and both our Junior Boys and Junior Girls will test themselves in the SSWA Futsal Carnivals. These competitions provide another opportunity for our players to showcase their development, resilience, and love of the game.
I am extremely proud of how far the program has come and look forward to building on this momentum moving forward.
