Gardening Club
Last week, our Gardening Club worked together to prepare the garden beds for our next rotation of crops.
The students planted pumpkin seeds and will be adding peas and potatoes later this week. It was wonderful to have the Year 12s visit and see what the Gardening Club has been up to, their encouragement and interest meant a lot to our younger students.
From a biblical perspective, our time in the garden is a reminder of the beauty of working together as a community. Just as 1 Corinthians 3:9 says, “For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.”
By caring for the garden and supporting one another, we’re nurturing growth in both the soil and our school community, learning that when we work together, great things can flourish.
