Student of the Week

Visual Arts -  Enzo 6A (Be a Learner) Enzo demonstrated fantastic focus and effort during Art while creating the armature for his animal sculpture. He embodied a growth mindset and set a fantastic example for other students. Congratulations Enzo!

Performing Arts - Eleesha 6B (Be a learner) for demonstrating a tremendous effort and enthusiasm in her graduation dance rehearsal with Mr Lavalava. Well done for continuing to display integrity and collaboration in our Performing Arts lessons and as a captain.

 

6A - Aaron (Be a Learner) has demonstrated great improvement recently with his use of English to explain his thinking or ask questions. Aaron is using his time constructively in Maths classes and has enjoyed sharing his ability with our latest unit on Order of Operations. It has been awesome watching your progression this year. Well done Aaron!

 

5B - Goury (Be a Learner) for demonstrating such bravery this week and facing her fears. We are all so proud of you for pushing through your nerves and we love having you a part of the classroom. 

5C - Jershon (Be a Learner) for his smooth transition into DPW, making friends and completing his learning tasks. What a wonderful asset you will be for DPW.  Keep up the great work Jershon.

 

4A - Moses (Be Respectful) Moses has been acknowledged by his classmates for being friendly, respectful and considerate - qualities that make a real difference in the classroom and beyond! Keep being the amazing person you are, Moses! 

4B -Harper (Be Respectful) for being respectful and inclusive of others. Harper uses her manners consistently throughout the day. She considers the feelings of others and often the one to show support when her classmates are struggling. Well done for being a caring and respectful classmate.

4C - Diya (Be a Learner) Diya, this week I have seen a real growth in your confidence.I love how you’re not afraid to ask questions when something isn’t clear. It shows you’re taking charge of your learning! Keep it up!

 

3A - Sarah (Be a Learner) Sarah consistently demonstrates pride in her learning during Mathematics, especially when solving equations using an algorithm. Keep up the incredible effort Sarah, well done! 

3B - Zoey (Be a learner) Zoey has demonstrated remarkable dedication and enthusiasm in her work with addition and subtraction this week. Her commitment to learning has led to impressive progress. It’s inspiring to see her growing confidence and skill in maths.

3C - Achillies (Be a Leaner) This award is for his enthusiasm and effort that has been put into planning his persuasive text. He is trying to convince me that we should go to Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium. I wonder if he will!

 

2A- Arielle (Be a Learner) for consistently demonstrating a high level of effort in all her work. She has worked hard to incorporate a range of WOW words into her writing, and she is showing great diligence in following the editing and revising process. Well done, Arielle!

2B - Avei-Latai (Be a Learner) consistently demonstrates enthusiasm and effort in Mathematics. She is eager to share her thinking during discussions and shows growing confidence and resilience when applying new learning. Well done Avei!

 

1A -  Khang (Be a Learner) for being a delightful new member of our class, settling in so well, learning our routines, and asking for help politely when needed.

1B - Alex (Be a Learner) Alex has settled wonderfully into Term 4. He consistently shows all of the DPW school values, especially by being respectful and kind to others. He puts great effort into his learning every day and always tries his best. Well done, Alex, you’re a superstar!

 

FA - Tom consistently demonstrated kindness, courtesy, and respect toward all members of our school community across all learning areas and settings. Well done and keep up the great work!

FC - Noah (Be Respectful) Noah uses his manners consistently throughout the school day. He is a calm and respectful student and a very reliable line-leader for our class - FC. Thank-you and well done, Noah!
