House Athletics Carnival 

House Athletics Carnival is Friday August 16th. It is always a great day of fun, active participation, personal bests, cheering, and resilience and hopefully sunshine. This event is a whole school event. 

The event is held at Proclamation Park, Sylvia grove, Ringwood. Students are bused to and from the venue. 

Parent helpers are required to make the day a success to help run and event such as Long jump. Please contact me bonny.chisholm@education.vic.gov.au if you are able to assist on the day. Thank you to those parents who have already offered to help. I have assigned you your roles. 

 If you want to pick up your child at the end of the day and take them home yourself you need to also sign the permission form and return it to your class room teacher. Attached is the form if you would like to print off and return. On the day there will be early leaving forms as well.  

Date: Friday August 16th: Proclamation Park, Sylvia Grove, Ringwood.

Seniors: 9. 30 am - 3 pm (Grade 3/4/5/6)

 Juniors: 11.30 am-2.30 pm (Foundation, Grade 1/2)

 Seniors compete in 9 events, Track: 100m, 100m Hurdles, 200m and 800m.Field: Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Discus and Shotput. 

Juniors in 5 events: 100m, 200m and 400m, long jump and a Throw event. 

This carnival is a fantastic opportunity for all MPS students to challenge themselves. Selected age groups of students in 9, 10, 11 and 12 will be invited to compete at the District Athletics carnival which is on Tuesday September 10th at Bill Sewart Reserve. 

Early Dismissal from House Athletics
