SACSA Soccer

In Week 7, Pilgrim School sent two teams to compete at the SACSA Soccer carnivals being held at King's Baptist Grammar School and West Beach. Our Year 3/4 team enjoyed a successful day; the team played 6 games, winning 3 of them. The team was competitive in every game, winning the games we won comfortably, with the games we lost only decided by 1 goal, and these games could have gone either way. Our Year 5/6 team were also competitive, winning 2 games out of the 6 played. We won our crossover final which was a great way to end the day on high spirits.

Both teams represented Pilgrim in the highest manner and were respectful to their teammates, opposition, and referees. All in all, two enjoyable days out. I would like to congratulate the boys on their efforts across the carnival. Well done to Zachary, Joshua, Ethan F, Vin, Rafiki, John, Mairik, Max M, Benji C, Ben P, and Max T from our Year 3/4 team; and to Brodie, Koah, Jaxon, Obie, Levi Th, Levi T, Johnny, Danny, Ashton, Christian, Eli, and Leo from our Year 5/6 team for their participation across the day.

Pedal Prix at Victoria Park

The Festival of Pedal Prix was held at Victoria Park Raceway on Saturday 15th June. The wild weather from Friday had cleared in time for the Community Categories and the sun shone again on the 80 strong field. Congratulations to our 4 Campus Tornadoes Pedal Prix Teams who completed a clean race with only a few mechanical issues for our seniors. Tobias took the fastest lap for his team in Stinger at 2 mins 27 secs, with Charlize 2nd fastest at 2 mins 42. Leo held the endurance award for completing an amazing 28 laps, more than 37km for the day!

We look forward to returning to The Bend Motorsport Park for Race 4 on Saturday 3rd August.
