Praying for the Reign of God

God, at the heart of life, holy is your name.

May your reign of love and justice

come and your will be done:

In our nation and in the global community.

Amen.

PJ / Oodie Day

The Faith and Social Justice team in Year 5/6 have organised a PJ/Oodie Day to raise funds for an orphanage in Congo. This will occur on Friday 21st of June.

On this day, students will be given full permission to wear oodies, pyjamas and slippers (runners for playtimes). Students are asked to bring a donation. The donations brought to the school will go directly to an orphanage in DR Congo.

An orphanage called Flames of Love with more than 20,000 children will be donated all of the money that students have bought in. If our entire school brings a gold coin donation, we can raise around $300 for the orphanage.

The students of St Christopher's will be helping the children in the orphanage by raising money for food supplies and medical supplies. Due to the war in DR Congo, children have been left orphaned and the Sisters at the Flames of Love Orphanage dedicate their time to caring for these children.
