NEVR ‘Sonic Canvas’ Performance

Congratulations to the EDSC students who joined hundreds of other government school musicians to present a magnificent North Eastern Victoria Region Youth Concert on Wednesday 29 May at the Arts Centre Melbourne Hamer Hall. The selected students were; Zoha A, Noah C, Chloe C, Chloe C, Jayden C, Aydan C, Kimberly C, Alice D, Patrick F, Nigel G, Victoria G, Avyaan K, Janessa L, Lucy L, Allyson L, Eddric N, Josh T, Weini X, Roy Y, Yane Y and Exuan Y.

50th Gala Production Performance

Congratulations also to our music ensembles; Chamber Strings, Symphonic Band and the Senior Vocal Group, as well as all the other students who participated in this wonderful event as performers or other backstage roles. To see so many students rise to the occasion across music, drama and the many supporting roles was inspiring, and a fitting end to the night was the 90-piece combined orchestra including 12 alumni musicians of the College.

Winter Concerts Thursday 13 June

Tickets are now on sale for these concerts to be held on Thursday 13 June in the Performing Arts Centre. Please book quickly as tickets are selling fast, and make sure you book for the correct performance for your child:

Concert 1 - 6:30-7:30pm features the Concert Band, Etude Band, Euphonix Vocal Group and Sempre Strings

Concert 2 - 8:00-9:20pm features the Da Capo Strings, Recital Choir, Stage Band, String Group and Vivo Band

A reminder that all student performers need to have the black Performing Arts uniform for this and other formal performances. The Performing Arts uniform is available through PSW.

With your gift of $300 (Premium Seat in the front section of the theatre)  or $250 (General Seating) each, you can play your part in continuing to upgrade and create a state-of-the-art facility for use by our students, as well as the wider community.
