Well done to all Reading Challenge prize winners

Congratulations must also go to the winner of our most recent Reading Challenge Fortnightly Draw: Luke of 7G won a $10 canteen voucher.

The library has plenty more prizes to give away to readers this year! The more books students enter into the Reading Challenge, the more chances they have of winning.

EDSC students have now read 2,901 books. All students who read and verify 15 or more books by September 4 will be invited to our Term 4 Reading Challenge celebration party – currently 31 students are on the invite list.

Students can enter all the books they’ve read during 2024 into the EDSC Reading Challenge Google Form. All details including rules and prizes are on our Reading Challenge webpage.

New Staff Picks library section

Students and staff looking for reading recommendations can check out our new Staff Picks shelf in the library.

The new library section displays old favourites and books we’ve recently enjoyed across a range of genres, all lovingly picked by EDSC library staff.

Each book has a mini review attached to the front cover to help readers choose their next great read.

Staff Picks is located next to the Cooking section, on the left when you enter the library. We hope you enjoy our selections – happy reading!
