Here we are, Week 11 of Term 2. Looking at the attendence over this past week, the dreaded colds and flus have certainly hit. Hopefully soon enough for you to recover and enjoy some nice quality time over the holidays. Maybe you're off somewhere warm, maybe you're staying local. For me, Mount Hotham is calling. I'll hope for snow up there and sunshine back here, despite how unlikely that is.
It wouldn't feel right to not celebrate some of our amazing G6s after I took them to Romsey ELC on Tuesday. Quinn, Alice, Audrey and Sabine you made the kids smile and laugh for a couple of hours while you played with them all. They loved it, and the educators were ever so apreciative. I think the hugs, tears and cuddles during the goodbyes told the story of how much fun they had with you. Thanks for representing our school in such a fantastic way!
The Makers Market was held this afternoon, it was easy to see the incredible effort students have put in by walking around their stalls. Thankyou to everyone who came along and suported, it's been a big effort with lots to learn about profits, margains, spending, and pricing items appropriately!
With the holidays here we look to next term, the Olympics being the highlight. Classes will be exploring the Gerography of our World and focusing on particular countries/regions tradtiions, cultures and people. They'll explore different events and the history of sporting acheivements across countries.
Next term, (check calendar for dates) we look forward to:
That's all from me, happy holidays. Be safe, be well, see you at the gate next term!
