Bike Shed

Can you all believe it?  The Bike Shed has finally been installed and is operational. The Bike Shed is located at the rear of the property inbetween Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms.  

All classrooms have revisited our Behaviour Matrix and discussed the behaviour expectations when using the Bike Shed. For example: 

Persistence - We use equipment safely and correctly.

Positivity - We behave in a friendly manner.

All students are reminded to walk their bikes in the school yard.  Bikes and scooters are to exit the school yard through the gate at Kiss N Go.

Some of the rules the students have come up with include: (Thank you 4a for your great ideas!)

• We control our emotions in the bike shed.
• We show respect to others in the bike shed.
• We leave the bike shed in a clean and tidy manner.
• We take care of the bike shed.
• We take responsibilty to put our bike in the right spot.
• We put our bikes neatly and respectfully int he bike stand.
• We walk our bikes in the school yard.
• We wait our turn in the bike shed.
• We use friendly voices in the bike shed.
