Principal Class News
My journey at CSPS has been one that I will hold strongly in my memories. I originally arrived at CSPS in 2014 as a new Assistant Principal but within 18 months I was the Acting and then substantive Principal. I was both nervous and excited. There was so much to do and I was eager to accomplish everything.
I knew I had all the 'right' people, who were a genuine, 'real' team with a clear purpose - to ensure CSPS is the Hub of the Community. I have been humbled by the shared camaraderie of students, staff, parents, carers and the community.
The staff are an amazing team. Their passion and commitment is beyond description. They yearn and strive to ensure that every student is a well rounded individual who loves to learn and who celebrate the importance of individualism and inclusion.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the connection with parents, carers and the community. Please do not underestimate the crucial role you play in the education and lives of your children. I considered it an honour the trust you had in me. I loved your questions; how we shared both tears and laugher together.
What I have loved most of all are the kids. Every, single student has helped me be a better teacher, a better mother, a better leader and a better person. The students remind me every day the incredible role that schools play in helping them become resilient learners, sportspeople, artists, scientists, mathematicians, musicians, authors, technological geniuses, but most importantly, healthy and wise human beings.
As I sign out in my final CSPS newsletter article, I do so will both joy and sadness. I am thrilled in what we have achieved but I am sad that I do not get to see you in person every day. I will miss my public announcements of 'Welcome to school beautiful people at CSPS'. Crazily, I will miss Kiss and Go, as it was so powerful to be the first and last smile your child sees each day.
CSPS will forever be in my heart and a part of my soul will always be dedicated to CSPS.

Student Dress Code policy
There are SO MANY items of uniform in the office each day waiting to be returned to their owners. Some can not be returned as the names are not clear or the intems are not labeled. Please take the time to check the labels this week.
The Student Dress Code aims to:
● foster a sense of community and belonging and encourages students to develop pride in their appearance
● support Cranbourne South Primary School’s commitment to ensuring that our students feel equal and are dressed safely and appropriately for school activities.
● reduce student competition on the basis of clothing
● enhance the profile and identity of the school and its students within the wider community.
Jewellery and Cosmetics
● Students are not permitted to wear decorative jewellery to school. Stud earrings and sleepers worn in the ears, and watches, are the only acceptable jewellery.
● Cosmetics may not be worn at school.
● Only clear nail polish is permitted.
Tess in Year 2 has developed a guide that can be used for accessing earrings that CAN be work to school and wanted to share it with the school community. Please see it below. Thank you Tess
