GOSPEL REFLECTION
God sent his Son so that through him the world might be saved
In Sundays Gospel Reading (John 3:13-17), Jesus reminds us that He was sent from heaven, not to judge or condemn, but to bring life and hope. Just as the bronze serpent in the desert brought healing, Jesus lifted on the cross brings eternal life to all who believe in Him. This passage is a message of love: God loves us so much that He gave His Son for our salvation. It calls us to trust in Jesus, to live in His light, and to share His love with others.
PRAYER
Loving God,
We thank You for sending Your Son Jesus into the world,
not to condemn us, but to save us.
Help us to place our trust in Him
and to share His love with those around us.
May we always live as people of hope and light.
We ask this through Christ our Lord,
Amen.
SANDHURST DIOCESE SEASON OF CREATION MASS
On Friday the 5th of September, ten of our Student Leaders attended the Sandhurst Diocese Season of Creation Mass at the Huntly Streamside Reserve. With the Theme of ‘Peace with Creation’ we are reminded of the beauty of Gods creations and the importance of caring for our earth. Schools were presented with a Relay of Hope Candle and a native plant.
