UNDERSTANDING ANXIETY IN CHILDREN
RRR - RESILIENCE, RIGHTS AND RESPECTFUL RELATIONSHIPS
HELP SEEKING (GRADE 3/4)
The Grade 3/4 students have been learning about how to ask for help and who they can go to when things aren’t going as planned. Today they spent some time thinking about the sorts of questions they can ask themselves before seeking teacher support. Some of the questions they came up with included
- Is this something I can handle myself?
- Did I do something wrong?
- Can I turn this into something good?
- Is someone being hurt physically or emotionally?
- Is this something I could ignore?
What a clever, insightful group of children!
