From the Principal

Dear Families and Friends of St Liborius,

As we reach the final week of term, a big thank you to all of our students, staff, and families for everything you’ve contributed to another successful term. Your support and involvement make such a difference to the life of our school.

Swimming Program

Our swimming program has been going swimmingly! Well done to all of our students for the way you’ve joined in with enthusiasm. It’s been wonderful to see skills and confidence grow in the pool. Not only is swimming great for fitness, but it also builds really important water safety knowledge – something especially valuable as the warmer weather approaches.

SunSmart Reminder

With the sun starting to shine again, it’s time for hats! From the start of Term 4, hats will be compulsory, so please make sure your child has a clearly named hat ready to go. Sunscreen is also available through our SunSmart kiosks. While we provide Cancer Council–approved sensitive sunscreen, students who need their own are very welcome to bring a labelled sunscreen from home to apply during our dedicated SunSmart time.

Trivia Night Fun

Our Trivia Night last Friday was such a fantastic evening! A huge thank you to our community for your generosity – through donations, services, and by gathering tables of friends and family. Special thanks go to John O’Connor for leading the night, Emma Grant for coordinating the prizes, and Brad Hinton for running the auction. We’re so grateful for all your efforts in making the night such a success. We look forward to hosting another Trivia Night in 2026!

Student Goals

Reflections on student goals are now available via PAM. We encourage families to take some time together to look over these, celebrating the growth and successes of this term and chatting about areas for further development as we move into Term 4.

As the term comes to a close, we wish all of our families a happy, healthy, and relaxing holiday. Take care, enjoy the break, and we look forward to seeing everyone back, ready for a bright and busy Term 4.

With many blessings,

Alannah Darmody
