Year 8 Visit to State Cinema

Friday 26 September

On Friday 26 September Year 8 students and staff will walk to the State Cinema to watch Future Council.

Students need to bring recess as classes are having a break before leaving for the cinema and the canteen will not be open at this time.  Students will not be able to purchase food at the cinema.

Students will return in time for lunch.

Year 7 Camps in Term 4

An Operoo will come out this week with details for the Year 7 camps. Four classes will be on camp the first week of Term 4 and the final 2 classes the following Monday:

  • Fry and Walker: Monday 13 - Wednesday 15 October
  • Backhouse and Oats: Wednesday 15 - Friday 17 October
  • Mott and Penn: Monday 20 - Wednesday 22 October

A reminder that drop-off and pick-up will be at Bell Street, off Queens Walk.

Students are required to bring all their own food for the camp but are unable to bring nuts or foods with nuts due to allergies.  To help with meal planning the Outdoor Education website offers a list of food suggestions.  The link to the website will be in Operoo.

To ensure staff have the most accurate information on swimming ability and any dietary or health concerns, please ensure Operoo profiles are up to date before the end of Term 3.

An equipment list will be part of the Operoo.  Please contact your child’s Key Teacher or Thomas Van Sant if you have any queries.
