Let's THRIVE in 2025
On Wednesday 3rd September a team of over 60 OHR students travelled to Doncaster Athletics Track for the North Balwyn District Athletics Day. Students competed in 100m, 200m, 800m, 1,500m, hurdles and 4x100m relay races as well as the field events of discus, shot-put, high jump, long jump and triple jump.
The weather was kind as we were able to avoid rain which has been prevalent over the last few years of this event. Every student represented OHR with pride and they are all to be commended for their team spirit and enthusiasm on the day.
Congratulations to Hailey W (2nd in the Girls 9/10 1,500m) and Zac C, Oliver D, Leo F and Dan C (1st in the Boys 4x100m relay) who progress through to represent OHR at the Division Athletics Day on Tuesday 14th October. Good Luck!!
FOOTY COLOURS DAY IS BACK for 2025
We have registered for Fight Cancer Foundation’s Footy Colours Day, to help Aussie kids kick cancer!
Footy Colours Day is becoming a much loved tradition at OHR. It’s such a great way to get students on board with helping other kids, and understanding the impact they can have on others — not to mention it’s an excuse for our students to break the dress code by wearing their teams’ colours!
The fight against cancer can mean more than six months away from home, school and friends. It’s heartbreaking to think a child may have to face that alone, but our school’s fundraising will help give Aussie families a home away from home, close to where they are being treated.
Our Footy Colours Day is on the last day of Term 3:
