MPPS Student Values Awards ~ Term 3, Week 8
Students who have demonstrated our school values (Respect, Kindness, Gratitude) are selected from each cohort to receive an award certificate and our new Values wristband to wear to school each day. The students receive this award at a cohort assembly that is conducted twice per term.

Prep
Oleg ~ This award goes to a member of Prep B who consistently demonstrates the school value of Respect - Oleg . Respect is all about listening carefully, using kind words, showing good manners, and thinking about others. Oleg does all of these things every day! He always listens to teachers and classmates, follows instructions straight away, and uses polite words like please and thank you. Oleg also shows respect by taking turns and sharing, which makes games and activities more fun for everyone. He helps our classroom to be a caring and friendly place where everyone feels included. We are so proud of the way Oleg shows respect and sets such a wonderful example for others. Congratulations, Oleg!
Carter ~ This award goes to a truly kind, thoughtful and compassionate student. Carter, you are a true role model for our school value of Kindness. Carter greets every one of his classmates and teachers with a cheerful smile in the morning, showing genuine care for the people around him. Always looking for ways to help someone out, whether it is helping them clean up or cheering a friend up. Carter knows the importance of always showing kindness and strives to do the right thing, even when nobody is watching, always encouraging others to do the same.Carter, we are so lucky to have you a part of Prep A! You are a wonderful example of how to show kindness to others every day. Thank you for helping to make our school such a wonderful place! Congratulations, Carter
Charlotte ~ This award recognises a student who demonstrates respect through everything they say and do. Charlotte exemplifies our school value of respect in her every day actions.
Charlotte approaches every new situation with an eagerness and positive attitude, showing a lovely appreciation for the people and opportunities around her. A supportive, thoughtful and kind classmate, Charlotte's infectious smile and beautiful manners make Prep A better every day. She is a true role model to others. Charlotte - you are a shining star!! We are so proud of you and the way you show our school values every day!
Year 1/2
Caolan ~ Caolan is a fantastic example of MPPS’s value of Respect! He always shows such amazing respect in the classroom to both teachers and students! Not only is he ready and enthusiastic to learn every week but he always makes sure to listen, focus and take initiative!
A key part of his stellar attitude is his willingness to give everything a go, even if it seems difficult. He shows respect in French by always putting in 110% and listening closely to discover new words and sounds. Thank you, Caolan, for being such a joy to have in the classroom and an amazing student to have at MPPS!
Ruairi ~ Ruairi is a respectful and considerate student who consistently demonstrates good manners and thoughtfulness in the classroom. He always listens attentively to others and responds in a caring and supportive way. Ruairi approaches learning with a positive attitude and is always willing to work with others. He is respectful of his personal belongings and the classroom environment. His thoughtfulness and respectful attitude make him a valued friend and role model at Middle Park Primary School.
Lucy~ Lucy is a shining example of kindness at Middle Park Primary School. Lucy has an innate ability to connect with the feelings of others, and easily empathises with their situations. She always keeps an eye out for people who might be hurt or upset, and offers them help, advice, or encouraging words. Lucy goes above and beyond to include others; helping everyone feel welcome and valued, and ensuring no one feels left out. Her thoughtful nature and positive attitude make her an outstanding role model and a supportive friend to those around her. Congratulations, Lucy! Your thoughtful words, helpful actions, and friendly smile make our classroom a happier and more welcoming place.
Hope ~ Hope demonstrates gratitude each day in a natural manner. She recognises others and makes an effort to say hello to them or share a smile. Hope regularly uses her manners without hesitation, and acknowledges the effort of others in giving what she has received. Hope is a cheery soul who sees the best in the world around her. Her bright and bubbly personality helps others to see all the good in the world. Well done, Hope.
Year 3/4
Jason ~ For the respect he shows to others in every Physical Education class. Jason’s positivity and openness to learning create an environment where everyone feels valued and supported. His optimistic mindset not only uplifts those around him but also demonstrates how respect, when paired with enthusiasm, inspires teamwork, inclusion, and a love of learning.
Srisa ~ Srisa is a superstar when it comes to our school value of respect! Srisa is consistently respectful toward her friends and teachers, and she listens attentively and responds thoughtfully. Srisa makes sure everyone feels heard and valued - she is a true MPPS Values champion. Thank you Srisa. We're so glad to have you back in our school community.
Saci ~ This award is presented to Saci Sharma, who consistently demonstrates kindness every day at school. Saci is thoughtful in the way she shows kindness—at times by simply being a calm, supportive presence, and at other times by actively going out of her way to help those around her. Her caring and considerate actions contribute to a welcoming environment, helping to create a school where everyone feels valued and supported. We are proud to acknowledge Saci’s wonderful example of kindness.
Leo ~ Leo consistently demonstrates true gratitude in everything he undertakes. He openly and sincerely acknowledges the support and kindness extended to him, always with a bright and positive demeanour. From appreciating others’ generosity to noticing the smallest acts of kindness, Leo’s grateful nature is evident in both his words and behaviour. He values the contributions of those around him, making him a compassionate and considerate member of the classroom community. Leo’s unwavering gratitude serves as an inspiring example to his classmates, making him a well-deserving recipient of this award.
Year 5/6
Eden ~ Eden consistently listens and observes others to better understand how she can contribute to the group as a friend or team member. Her patience is highly regarded and her quiet confidence is admired by staff and students. She has a high regard for learning and her work ethic enables her to achieve wonderful results.
Indie ~ Indie displays her respect for others and her school in many ways each day. During class sessions, Indie respectfully shares her thoughts and ideas whilst taking into consideration the thoughts and ideas of others. She respectfully listens to everyone and openly considers new thinking and respectfully responds in agreement or with arguments to show a different perspective. Indie respects everyone's right to learn and every teachers’ right to teach. She approaches all of her learning and interactions with a high level of respect for those around her. Indie is a considerate friend who values her relationships and genuinely cares for her peers. She can respectfully resolve problems and willingly looks for solutions that will benefit everyone involved. Indie is the perfect role model of our school values!! Rhys ~Rhys shows kindness in many aspects at MPPS. Always willing to be a partner to those without one, inviting others to work in groups & generally just being an all round kind person. Rhys’s kindness is felt & seen by our team over & over again.
Ishi ~ Ishi truly deserves this value's award for KINDNESS.
She consistently demonstrates this school value by looking out for others and treating everyone as an equal. Ishi always comes to school with a beautiful and lovely warm smile, and starts the day with a genuine, happy greeting, to her teachers and her peers. Ishi is compassionate and always looks out for others, demonstrating a genuine concern for others' well being. No matter who Ishi interacts with, she always demonstrates kindness towards others, whether it is helping out a classmate by cheering them up or looking for ways to help a teacher. Congratulations, Ishi. Thank you for being the person you are and for embracing all of our school values. We love having you in our class and as a valued member of the MPPS school and community.
Harry ~ At MPPS, we celebrate students who embody our core values of Kindness, Respect, and Gratitude. While Harry exemplifies all three, he has especially distinguished himself through his sincere gratitude throughout the community during his senior year. He regularly expresses thanks to his teachers with genuine kindness and respect, recognizing their dedication and support. Harry also approaches group work with a positive spirit, never complaining, and valuing the contributions of his peers. His considerate and grateful attitude fosters a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for everyone around him. Well done, Harry!
