Student Progress Meetings – New Format

Our upcoming Year 7 – 10 Student Progress Meetings (formerly Parent–Teacher Interviews) will be held on Monday 13 October, between 10.00am and 6.00pm.

Students in Years 7 - 10 are not required at school on this day except for their scheduled meeting, and classwork will be set on SEQTA for completion at home. This also includes Year 11 students, who will also be learning from home.

Bookings opened via EDVAL on Thursday 11 September and will close on Thursday 9 October at 5.00pm. Parents will have received an email with a unique booking code for their child. Each meeting is 5 minutes, and we kindly ask parents not to book back-to-back sessions to help keep the day running smoothly.

Please note, Student Progress Meetings are optional. If you feel confident about your child’s progress and have no concerns to raise, there is no obligation to book a meeting.

For questions, please contact stephanie.davis@trinityac.nsw.edu.au, or if you need assistance during the term break, please contact kathy.fletcher@trinityac.nsw.edu.au.

Summer Uniform

Students were informed at Wednesday’s assembly that the 2-week transition period for changing over into summer uniform has commenced.

The uniform is to be summer or winter and no hybrid variations.

It may be a good time to locate and dust of the Trinity hat, which will be compulsory next term.

Students are all expected to wear their school blazer at the Graduation assembly on Wednesday 24 September.

Parents are also reminded at school shoes are not to be a sports branded shoe.

Year 11 Leadership Update

The 2026 student leadership has moved onto the second phase, which is House Captains.

Voting commences on Friday and students have until 5pm on Monday to vote for their preferred captain.

Year 11 & 10 Examinations

Good luck to all our Year 11 and 10 students who are commencing their examinations. Study well and be proud of your achievements.

Students are reminded to bring their ID to the exams.

HSC Support

As we prepare for the 2025 HSC exams, we are seeking volunteers to support our students by acting as Readers and Scribes.

Your involvement can make a meaningful difference in helping students feel confident and perform at their best.

What’s involved?

Readers read exam questions and student responses aloud.

Scribes write down students’ dictated answers during exams.

When?

Various days between Thursday 16 October and Friday 7 November.

Who can volunteer?

Any parent or guardian who is available and willing to assist - we’d love to have your support!

If you’re interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact Aaron Culligan - aaron.culligan@trinityac.nsw.edu.au

Tournament of the Minds

On Sunday 31 August, seven of our talented Year 8 and 9 students proudly represented Trinity at the Tournament of Minds competition in Wagga Wagga.

Over the past two terms, Lily Jones, Peregrine Leeuwen Nicol, Thinuli Manamperi Koralage, James Maxwell, Sydney Pilkington, Ahmed Siddiqui, and Tyge Morey have worked tirelessly to develop their creative thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Their challenge was to explore the breakdown of Earth’s four spheres – lithosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere - and propose a scientific theory to restore balance. The team designed a powerful 3D emblem to represent the spheres. During their presentation, they deconstructed it to show disunity and then reassembled it into a stronger, harmonious design - which ultimately became the Trinity logo.

We’re incredibly proud of their effort, creativity, and collaboration throughout this enriching experience.

Year 11 Design & Technology Projects

Year 11 Design & Technology students have just wrapped up their major project for the year!

Their challenge? To choose a hotel and design a lighting solution that reflected its unique style and clientele. From stunning cave hotels in China to coastal Australian resorts and even cosy local B&Bs, students explored a variety of interiors, furnishings and lighting technologies.

Along the way, they experimented with materials and techniques ranging from traditional woodwork to resin casting and 3D printing – producing some truly incredible results!

You can see these innovative designs on display at the Stage 6 Design & Technology Exhibition on 18 September in the TAS Hub.
