Year 4 Sovereign Hill Camp

"Year 4 camp was awesome! The main activities were the Pantomime, gold panning, education sessions about Sovereign Hill before it became a museum. We learnt about Aboriginal history, materials they used, the candle making, lolly shopping, musket firing, Aura Sound and Light Show, mine tours and many, many countless activities. Each activity was fantastic, brilliant and mind blowing. Our cabins were nice and cozy and having fun and making memories with cabin mates. We had an absolute amazing time at Sovereign Hill." - Abby

"These are a few things I loved about camp and why. First: gold pour, it was really satisfying and shiny, but not to forget, heavy. AND, the way I knew that was because I got to hold 3kg of 22 carat gold. Second: confectionary, it was so cool and sweet. The Sir who was making it was very nice at the end and gave us freshly made warm raspberry drops." - Summer

"At Sovereign Hill cam we had so much fun. We went gold panning. We watched raspberry drops being made and it was amazing. We watched candle being made, we also got to make them. It was so much fun" - Izzy

"For camp, we went to Sovereign Hill, my favourite parts of camp was the candle making, lolly shopping, my cabin time and looking in the shops there." - Zo
