Excursion to William Angliss

On Friday, the third of November, the year 6’s went to the William Angliss restaurant. We had a lovely time and the food was outstanding for chefs in training.
First, our trip was not that bad as we had the whole bus to ourselves. When we got onto the freeway, there was a man in a truck who pretended to ride a horse in a horse race. He made our ride extra special and extra fun.
After a lot of talking, we finally arrived at our destination. We climbed a lot of stairs and
long hallways. The school / restaurant was massive and
highly interesting. We were directed to tables and someone was on each table. Dylan worked with Mr Sharp to make this possible so he was also there. The person on my table was Angela. She was very nice and asked us lots of questions to get to know us and us to get to know her. First they gave us some bread. Then, some calamari with salad or pumpkin soup for starters.
After that, we had a main course of either fish or chicken. In my opinion, the chicken was so close to the best thing ever. Finally we had a dessert of either chocolate mousse with
mango sorbet or a macadamia tart with vanilla cream. Everything looked amazing and tasted even better but the dessert was truly the best course.
After questions, we waited for the bus and had a lovely ride back. Overall, the trip was an unforgettable journey.
On the 3rd on November the grade 6’s, Mrs. Moran and Mrs. Hudson went to the William Angliss Restaurant in the city .
We went there on a bus at 11;00 and arrived at about 12;00 .The bus ride was fun and I got to read my book which was starting to get interesting.
Once we got there, we took a photo of the class and went inside, inside there were food like cakes and other things
displayed and they were quite magnificent. Then we got to the tables and we sat down. I was sitting on a table with Gurpreet, Willow, William, Kaylynn and Dillan who were sitting with us.
After waiting for some time they brought us some bread and some oil with something inside ,the bread was salty and delicious.
Then For the Entrée we had calamari, some sweet and spicy sauce for the calamari and some shredded veggies.
Then, for the main course we had barramundi or chicken ,I got the barramundi and it was just awesome, and for dessert we had some chocolate mousse and some mango sorbet or a chocolate macadamia nut tart.
Finally the chefs came out and answered some of our questions and we went back outside and we took a few more photos. Then, after a few minutes the bus came and we went back to school, so I think the day went really well and I really enjoyed it.
