Transition

  • Avery Brettle for the way she shares her ideas in discussions and includes new friends in games.
  • Roy Hill for amazing letter matching when looking for the initial sounds in words and his growing confidence.
  • Kane Jones for sharing his knowledge of transport in Australia and his eagerness to read books from our library.
  • Frazer McLennan for always playing with fairness and fun in our class games and being kind and courteous during all interactions.

Kindergarten

  • Axel Lockyer for his enthusiasm and effort in music and dance lessons.
  • Haidee Hope for her great knowledge of God’s creation and how to care for it. 
  • William Neill for becoming a very fluent reader. 
  • Vinnie Furphy for using clever comprehension strategies in his reading tasks.

Year 1/2 

  • Penny McLennan for her outstanding commitment to her learning and always working hard to improve her work. 
  • Tristan Nguyen for working slowly and methodically during math sessions. 
  • Samuel Sauer for working hard to form correct sentences during writing sessions. 
  • Mackenna Cleaver for her working to meet her goals with writing tasks. 
  • Thomas Laing for contributing thoughtful answers during class discussions
  • Elinor Hill is showing what a kind friend she can be to others in our class. 

Year 3/4

  • Ted W you make use of think time and small groups to develop and share your ideas. You put the Living Well Learning Well aim of respecting yourself and others as you consistently work fairly in group tasks.
  • Ricky for providing generous support, encouragement and mentoring for student authors’ wanting to experiment with imagery and foreshadowing. You put the Living Well Learning Well aim of being a learner when you work on your writing
  • Millie N for being skilled in seeking help and providing kindness to others when they need help. You put the Living Well Learning Well aim of caring for self and others in your everyday actions.
  • Miles F for being a risktaker when sharing ideas or making connections in a variety of learning situations and groups. You put the Living Well Learning Well aim of respect for self and others as you try new things and share new ideas.
