Years 2 & 4

The Year 2/4 students have really embraced our 'Good, better, best" class motto this week and tried their hardest on a series of tests. Spelling, maths and writing tests have all been completed this week and I didn't hear any grumbles, so well done and thank you to everyone for being so positive.  Monday was test free though because we had fun Melbourne Cup activities to do. We made 'Cup Horses' to match our drawn sweep horses then used them to have spelling and maths races. It was great fun with galloping sounds, a race caller and special desk track included. 

Year 4 students have worked very efficiently and happily this week on spreading mulch around our playground equipment. This was a voluntary task and it was impressive to see everyone wanting to help. What a positive, can do class this is!
