Senior School
2023 has been a huge year for our senior school and it is rapidly coming to a close!
The Year 12 students have had a series of events to end their studies with us, including a celebration day where all the students dressed up as 2000’s film characters, ate a BBQ lunch hosted by Year 11 student leaders and participated in a game of netball against the staff.
This was followed by a Valedictory assembly, where all of our students were presented with a certificate and a gift from the school. Well done to all of the Year 12’s of 2023, and to our student leaders who have presented at all of the Valedictory events.
The main event is underway now with our scored VCE students participating in their VCAA exams all hosted up in Peacock Hall. This was preceded by practice exams during the last holidays and a power of work by the students to get themselves ready. Good luck to those with their last exams still to go and well done to those who have already finished!
Thanks also to Bonnie Zuidland, Kristy Gatens and Kara Smith for the effort they put into those events.
Our Year 11 student leaders have been working getting ready for next year and have already done a lot of positive work with the cohort to get their own Year 12 off to a good start.
Year 11 exams are upon us as well and the start of their Year 12 journey with Orientation in weeks 8 and 9. This is an important step for the students to start their Unit 3/4 subjects off in a positive manner and to be as prepared for 2024 as possible!
Well done to Year 11 team leaders Belinda Wehl and Karen Lee who have worked positively with the Year 11 cohort to set them up for a great Year 12.
Thanks to everyone involved in the senior school this year and to Sharon Eppingstall for all the support she has given us all – and good luck to all of our students in 2024!
