Beautiful Biology 

We found a variety of objects on that fell from above and landed on our school grounds. We explained where they came from.  Students made a collection of objects and then sorted them.

Grades 1 & 2

We investigated why so many hermit crabs are living in trash in the ocean.  Students identified environmental impacts affecting hermit crabs.  We designed environmental posters, with messages not to litter and not drop rubbish, as it ends up in the ocean.

Grades 3 & 4

Students explored animal adaptations and continued working on their slideshow documentaries about Symbiotic relationships. We learned how to use technology and developed our ICT skills.

Grades 5 & 6

Students looked at what life could be like in 2040 during our Science electives. We identified the main causes of climate change and how it affects the environment. Students came up with some environmental solutions and participated in team challenges.   We participated in the real water bucket challenge and focused on saving water as it is a precious resource.
