Week 7 and 8 in the Art Room

Week 7

Prep, Year 1 and Year 2

Our Prep to Year 2 students began working on a watercolour art project this week. They were asked to create a background using a range of colours and shapes. Students then chose similar colours to draw patterns over the top of their watercolour background in texta. 

Year 3

This week, our Year 3 students completed their heart artwork for reconciliation and proudly showcased it to their families.

Year 4

In continuation of their Picasso artwork, Year 4 students completed their drawings of Picasso faces atop their watercolour backgrounds this week.

Year 5 and 6

Throughout the week, our Year 5 and 6 students refined their final watercolour artworks, using fine liner techniques to add intricate details and depth to their pieces.

Week 8

Prep, Year 1 and Year 2

This week, students commenced drawing portraits for their watercolour backgrounds after participating in a guided lesson on creating full-body portraits, ensuring to include all distinctive features and accessories. 

Year 3

Throughout the week, Year 3 students explored primary and secondary colours through watercolour painting.
