WEEK 9 LEARNING

 Congratulations lovely friends, we have made it through our first term of 2024!

It has been an eventful term with Naplan, Expressions and Kitchen Garden in full swing. We would like to wish all of our families a happy and restful Easter Holidays.

This week is a short and busy week. 

🎾 3/4 students will have all of their Specialist classes on Tuesday.

🌈 Colour Run is taking place this Wednesday, the 26th of March. See Sentral for further details. We can't wait to see you there!

🐰Our final day on Thursday the 28th of March with our final assembly, Easter Raffle and an early finish. 

Challenge Based Learning

This term in CBL we have been exploring the Big Idea of Community. We have learned about the different ways communities are created and what helps them succeed. Students will be working towards producing a recipe book. They are organising a Recipe Book Launch and Special Afternoon Tea , which will fundraise for our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program.

LITERACY & NUMERACY

We will be revising the term's learning through a range of games and activities. Keep an eye out for your child's Learning Snapshots on Showbie. We will be sending home invitations for you to join so that you are able to access your child's learning.

Spelling

Spelling and Vocabulary Assessments will be taking place this week. Please ensure your child brings a fully charged iPad to school every day.

• Cookbook Launch and Special Afternoon Tea - Friday 19th of April 2:30-3:30pm
• Whole School Cross Country - Monday 22nd of April.
• Grade 3 Camp information Session - Tuesday 23rd of April at 3:45pm in the 3/4 gallery space.
• Tuesday 30th April -Wednesday 1st May: Grade Three Camp - approximate cost is $250
