CONGRATULATIONS 2023 SUSTAINABILITY LEADERS
On behalf of the parent sustainability committee and the wider RPS community, we want to congratulate the 2023 sustainability leaders who have had an incredibly successful year in driving sustainable action and change at RPS and beyond. We’re incredibly proud of their achievements and dedication to protecting the planet.
Thank you to Pepi Tansey for being the groups fearless leader, and to Indigo Miller, Zoe Buxton, Sam Davis and Emilia Chalela.

- Welcome picnic waste management
- Ran an energy audit and suggested ways for the school to be more energy efficient
- Introduction of caddies to recycle lunchbox scraps and getting junior classes engaged in composting
- Planned and executed sustainability initiatives for every term
- Ran Plastic Free July event and awarded the classroom with the lowest waste - congrats parents of 1/2D!!
- Created insect hotels
- Productive garden watering & sales
- Received VGSA award, 2 new vegepods will be delivered term 1 2024 to increase our productive garden produce.
