P&F News

What is the P&F?

The Parent and Friends Association (P&F) aims to build community and encourage connections between St Peter's families, students and staff. It also has a secondary purpose of raising money to support initiatives at school. We are currently raising money to upgrade our playgrounds.

The P&F welcomes all parents and carers and strongly encourages you to become involved. If you talk to our current organisers I am sure they will let you know about the sense of pride and achievement they feel after an event, as well as the stronger friendships that have developed. At the end of the day, we are all wanting to provide opportunities that benefit the students of the school.

We hold meetings online- about once per month and use Whatsapp to communicate in between the meetings.

If you would like more information, then please have a chat with Jenny, Sandy, Kim, Karen, Raj, Reji or Sinead, who have been key members.

Parent Reps

This role aims to develop relationships within each class and aid with communication across the school. In 2025, we ask that at least one parent rep from each class attends P&F meetings to then be able to communicate back to parents what events are happening. You would also be a face to welcome new families into our community. Please contact pandfspclayton@gmail.com if you would like to get involved. There will be an induction meeting on Friday 21 February at 2:30pm. There can be as many parents from each class as are interested to carry out this role.

All parents should be on the Whatsapp group as another helpful communication tool.
