Positive Behaviour for Learning

Over the last 3 weeks all students in all classes have being learning and revising-What are the 3 values of the school? -Respect, Responsibility and Resilience. The students discussed what each of these values might look like in the playground, in classrooms and at home. Teachers have also been positively been praising students where they see examples of this behaviour.
Our students have also been practicing whole school routines to ensure students know exactly what to do and how to act including an Assembly Routine , a Lining up routine and Flush, Wash, Dry and Goodbye Routine. We do this in order:
- To keep everyone safe
- To respect ourselves and our school’s property
Effective classroom management creates safe and supportive learning environments for all students. All teachers need to revisit and practice rotinues regularly.
Whole-school approaches effectively support and improve classroom management and ensure students know exactly what to do so they can focus on learning.
