Empowering Student Voice: Enhancing Our School Library Together

We are excited to introduce a new initiative that empowers our students to actively shape the library's collection. Starting this term, students will have the opportunity to request books they'd like to see added to our library. This initiative not only fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility but also ensures that our library reflects the diverse interests and needs of our student body.

The funds contributed by parents and carers to the library fund will be directly utilised to purchase these requested books. This means your support is having a tangible impact on the quality and variety of reading materials available to your child. By participating in this program, you are helping to cultivate a rich and engaging reading environment that encourages a lifelong love of learning.

We believe that involving students in the selection process not only enhances their engagement with reading but also empowers them to take an active role in their educational journey. This initiative aligns with best practices in education, where student voice is integral to creating meaningful and effective learning experiences.

We look forward to seeing the wonderful selections our students will make and appreciate your continued support in enriching our school library.
