Principal's Message

Dear parents, students and families,

Last Friday Mrs Winduss prepared a beautiful Mass dedicated to the feast of the Assumption. Our senior students continued their Winter Sport Program against Kananook PS at home and had a great time with two wins.

We have celebrated book week with great gusto this week! Thank you to Mrs Brooking for her inventive ideas and the Teachers for making it a wonder day for all the children.

We have also had many of our Safety Week incursions this week. Thank you to Mrs McKenzie for her organisation of these incursions.  The presenters of these incursions have commended our community on the way the children have been prepared and the questions they have asked.

Some of our Year 4 students have commenced their celebration of their First Eucharist over the next month at Parish Masses. We pray for and congratulate Austin, Audrey, Patrick, Darcy, Haven M, Ben, Joseph, Will and Nathan .

Tomorrow our senior students play Belvedere PS away as part of their sporting program and we will be holding our termly Emergency Safety Drill.

On Saturday is the social occasion of the year - 'The St Anne's Trivia Night'- which has been arranged by our Parents and Friends Group. My thanks in advance to this group and to the Principal of St Joachim's, Mr Paul Dwyer, who has graciously allowed us to use their hall due to ours currently being out of action.

We continue with Safety Week Incursions next week and have Responsible Pet Ownership visiting our Foundation students.

Thanks again for a wonderful week.

God Bless

Sally Thomas

Deputy Principal
