Book Week 2025 at LNPS: Adventurers Galore!

From capes and compasses to maps and magnifying glasses, LNPS set off on a week-long reading adventure for Book Week 2025 celebrating stories that take us places and characters who dare to explore.

The week began with a colourful parade, as students and staff showcased favourite book characters and bold explorers. It was a joyful reminder that reading sparks imagination and builds community. 

Buddy activities brought big hearts and little readers together! One of the highlights was our buddy sessions. Older students read aloud to their younger buddies, then worked together on fun learning activities. These sessions built confidence and friendship, and our younger readers loved the special attention from their big-kid buddies. 

A huge thank you to our students (for the creativity!), staff (for the planning and energy), and families (for helping with costumes and encouraging reading at home).
