August Aussie of the Month Awards

Congratulations to our August Aussie of the Month Recipients.

We are proud to congratulate our Aussie of the Month award recipients for August:

  • Lily Newman – R7
  • Seth Cutting – T16
  • Ada Wong – F11

These students have consistently demonstrated our school values and learner qualities through their positive attitudes, respectful behaviour, and commitment to excellence in their learning.

Their classroom teachers have written some wonderful comments that demonstrate these Values and Learner Qualities being displayed in the classroom environment and also in the school yard. Here are some of the comments!

Lily always demonstrates the school values and learner qualities during PE. She is ready to learn at the beginning of every lesson, responds positively to feedback, and works cooperatively with her partner. Lily shows genuine care and concern for others and is always eager to help pack up at the end of each session, doing so with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Well done, Lily – keep aiming high! Mrs Byrnes

Congratulations on your Aussie of the Month award Seth. You always give your best effort and you are growing in confidence every day. You always demonstrate the LNPS Values, you are respectful when talking to your peers and teachers and show care and concern towards others. You are persistent with your learning and you are improving every day. Seth, I am really proud to have you in my class, keep up the great work. Mrs McCulloch

Ada, you are thoroughly deserving of this recognition, and it is incredibly exciting to celebrate such an amazing achievement with you. Your passion, dedication, and kindness have inspired those around you, and your efforts have not gone unnoticed. Continue representing the school values and learner qualities daily, being the best role model you can be. Congratulations on being awarded Aussie of the Month, we are all very proud of you. Keep it up!

We encourage all students to continue to Aim High and strive towards demonstrating the Values and Learner Qualities both in and out of the classroom.

Keep Aiming High!! You could be our next Aussie of the Month!

Student Ambassadors Father's Day Breakfast

Some of our Student Ambassadors have been hard at work behind the scenes, helping to plan this year’s Father’s Day Breakfast. At our recent meeting with members of the Governing Council, they shared some wonderful ideas and came well prepared with a list of thoughts on what the morning could look like.

The ambassadors contributed with enthusiasm, creativity, and a real sense of community spirit as they worked on promotional content and brainstormed ways to make the event special.

They are now busy finalising their plans to ensure it will be a morning to remember. Stay tuned for more details soon! We can’t wait to celebrate with our families!
