Learning Reflection

Students have been working hard learning their heart words and sounds.

Inspired by the Dreamtime story of Bunjil, we took the time to connect with nature by creating our won animals using natural resources. 

We are learning about Bunjil the Eagle, creator spirit for the Wurundjeri People. We wrote about what we learned and shared our writing with each other. 

It's nice to have some collaborative and calm time to play and be with our classmates after a busy week. 

We are learning how to write a recount. We followed the process of Title, Introduction, First, Then, Next, Last and I Felt. Students then shared their writing with a friend. We also had a go at writing our own stories this week.

During Explicit Maths Program (EMP) we have been looking at number lines, working out the interval and the missing number on the number line. Also, we have been practising writing our numbers by 1's, 2's, 5's or 10's.
