Le Page Primary School Disco

 

Dear Parents and Carers,

 

Cue the music, the lights and the good times!

We are excited to be holding a disco night for our students, facilitated by professional entertainers, Bop ‘Til You Drop.  This will be an exciting night full of hit music, dancing, games and celebration.

Friday 29th August, 2025

Junior Disco (Grades F,1.2): 5:30-6:30pm              Senior Disco (Grades 3,4,5,6): 7:00-8:00pm

 

Where: School Hall

Cost: $7.00 per student

 

The entertainers, Bop 'Til You Drop, have many years of experience entertaining children and will be conducting a structured disco party, keeping children engaged.  The disco will be supervised by registered parent helpers only. 

 

All children must have the permission and payment processed on Compass by midday Friday 29 August to attend. No cash sales at the door.

 

Keeping children safe

  • No teachers are on site, the disco is supervised by parents and volunteers (with a valid Working With Chidlren permit). 
  • An adult will need to sign children in and out.
  • This event is only for students who attend LePage Primary School. We cannot cater to siblings, only children for correct year groups in sessions please

 

Please bring along

  • Labelled water bottle
  • Dancing shoes
  • Headphones or any other sensory supports

 

Leave at home

  • Any food or snacks
  • Mobile phone and any other devices
  • Glowsticks and any toys
  • Any other siblings

 

Please read the below information carefully:

  • No food allowed is in the hall, so please provide dinner beforehand. 
  • There will be a minimum number of parent volunteers present (no teachers) and all must hold a current Working With Children Check.
  • The disco is designed as a drop off/pick up event.  If you would like to stay for your child’s session, we welcome you to register as a parent helper and provide a copy of your Working With Children Check. 
  • If your child has any additional needs, such as sensory sensitivities, asthma/allergies, we ask that you register as a parent helper and stay for the duration of the event. 
  • Children in after school care will need to be signed out of care, and signed into the Disco by their adult/carer.
