Students have been busy practising their moves for the Festive Concert!
SAVE THE DATE...Thursday 4th December from 4:30pm.
Don't forget to also check out the Art Show in the hub. It's sure to blow your sock off!!
Last week on Friday students in Grades P-3 participated in the Sports Day. The weather goads were on our side this time and thankfully all our planned activities could be engaged in, in their full capacity. It was a fantastic day for all!! Thank you Mr. Dane for organising a wonderful event.
Year 3 students learning amount mass in maths. They have been comparing, estimating and confirming units of measurement in grams.
Year 4-6's were lucky to have a visiting author this week, Alice Phung. She has written books such as, Meet Marly & Be Careful Xiao Xin. As you can see, there were lots of eager students waiting to have their questions answered.
For a while now, students have been using whiteboards as a tool to quickly show their understanding, thinking or answers. Teachers use this as an opportunity to gauge understanding and give immediate verbal feedback. A goal for students has been to achieve 100% participation in their learning 100% of the time. Everyone is expected to take ownership of their learning and have a go!
A friendly reminder that as much as families possibly can, please aim to send your child with rubbish free snack and lunch. Students are allocated enough time before snack and during lunch eating time to finish their food inside and we kindly ask them not to take any food out during play times.
Awesome work to Billie, Ryan and all students who are following our SunSmart policy and wearing appropriate protection from the strong UV rays. Keep it up!
