Dear Parents and Friends,
As the 2025 school year has drawn to a close, I would like to thank each of you for your support throughout the year. I do not take for granted the trust that this community has again shown me this year and I appreciate that together we have been able to work in genuine partnership to develop the faith, learning and well being of our students.
A school is only as strong as its community, and 2025 truly highlighted the spirit of partnership we share.
We extend our deepest thanks to:
Our Staff: To our teachers and school support officers - thank you for your tireless effort, passion, and commitment to nurturing the potential of every student.
Our Volunteers and P&F: Your time, support, and fundraising efforts have been invaluable. From helping in the library to coordinating events, your contributions have enriched the learning environment for all.
Our Students: Thank you for your energy, curiosity, and joyful presence. You are the heart of our school, and we are immensely proud of your growth in all areas this year.
We say farewell to several staff and families who are moving on to new adventures. In particular, we wish to acknowledge Mrs Gallagher and Mrs Grose who have dedicated many years of service to our school. We also farewell Miss Papaleonidas, Mrs Parsons and Mrs Milne. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and wish them every success and happiness.
We also farewell our Year 6 students. It is always with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to the leaders of our school as they take the next steps in their learning journey at high school. These students have embodied our vision Truth & Light and now are ready to take all they have learned into the next chapter of their lives. We are very proud of them and they will be missed.
I am pleased to announce, Mrs Paula Wilson, will begin in the substantive role of Senior School Support Officer in January. Paula holds a Bachelor of Business with Distinction and a Diploma of Accounting, supported by 30 years of professional experience within a Sydney law firm.

Principal Awards
Our Principal's awards are presented to students fortnightly on the even week.
The students will receive their Principal's Awards at our whole school assembly,
on Friday 6 February (Week 2).
How does my child receive a Principal's Award?
Class teachers nominate students for Blue Merit Awards which are presented at the weekly assembly. When five Blue Merit Awards have been received, students send them to the school office to be recorded and are then eligible for a Principal’s Award. When students attain their 4th Principal Award, they are awarded a Principal’s Medallion at an assembly. End of Term awards can be included as part of the 5 awards. Please see the "School Handbook" for a full list of eligible awards.
