ICAS Results
2025 Australasian Schools Mathematics and English Competition
This term, 32 of our Grade 3-6 students participated in the 2025 ICAS Mathematics. A further 21 participated in the English Competition. Both were run by the University of New South Wales. All students who participated received a certificate of achievement.
English
We had one student receive a High Distinction (top 1% of students globally); Clara Steegstra from Year 4. It’s an incredible achievement.
Five students received a Distinction (top 10% globally); Yug Alambaan, Orlando Da Silva, Oliver Li, Georgina Bodek & Estelle Ascenzo.
A further two students received a Credit (top 25% globally); Elle Di Leo & Liam Twaits.
Three students received a Merit (the top 40% globally); Tom Winton, Asmi Sriskandarajah & Charlotte Hocking.
A further ten students received a Certificate of Participation. Well done and congratulations to all of the students who participated!
Mathematics
Two students who received a Distinction (the top 10% globally); Samuel Jeevan & James Green.
Eight students received a Credit (the top 25% globally); Yug Alambaan, Tom Winton, Zolton Jakab, Tom Downs, Oliver Li, Archie Weatherby, Liam Twaits & Benjamin Gammell.
Five students received a Merit (the top 40% globally); Amelie Steegstra, Liam Wynd, Asmi Sriskandarajah, Rohan Bellubbi & Max Leach.
Congratulations also to the 17 students received a Certificate of Participation.
