PREP ASSESSMENT DAYS

During Prep Assessment Days, we offered a full-day program to support families who needed to work. With a small group attending this year, we enjoyed a relaxed few days together playing games, doing craft, and drawing.

On our final day, we walked to Wheelers Hill Library, where we had a picnic by the lake, met a librarian, and explored the library. The children loved browsing the books and enjoying some quiet reading time.

FUN AT OSHC

We’ve had a wonderful start to the year at OSHC! During the past few weeks, we updated several areas to make our space more child-orientated and inviting.

Our new play area allows children to choose construction or imaginative play items from the storage cubes, encouraging both individual and group play. A new table has also been added and is already a favourite spot for Lego creations. We’ve refreshed our reading corner as well, creating a calmer and more welcoming space to relax with a book.

With the beautiful weather, the children have loved spending time outdoors, as well as gathering around their usual drawing table to create and chat with friends.

We’re excited to continue growing and providing the best possible experience for all our children throughout the year.

OSHC SUB COMMITTEE

We would like to warmly invite you to join our OSHC Sub-Committee. Our sub-committee meets monthly, just before each School Council meeting, and it’s a fantastic opportunity for families to provide feedback and actively contribute to the management and future development of the OSHC program.

The meetings are informal, with no titles or prior experience necessary, and provide a great chance to learn more about how the program runs and how you can help shape its direction. We typically meet on a Monday night at 6:20pm, and meetings usually run for around 40 minutes to an hour. Each month we review the Coordinator’s Report and discuss any policies currently under review.

If you're interested in joining us or would simply like to find out more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’d love to have more parent voices involved and truly value your input.
