Child Safeguarding

As part of our ongoing commitment to learner wellbeing and safety, we continue to support all children to be safe, respectful, and responsible in both face-to-face and online environments. Last week, all staff completed the PROTECT Mandatory Reporting training, ensuring they remain informed, confident, and prepared to respond appropriately to any child safety concerns.
Last week also marked Safer Internet Day, which encourages schools and families to work together to promote positive and safe online behaviour. It is a valuable opportunity to pause and talk with children about their digital experiences and how to stay safe online. We encourage families to access the Not My Kid cyber safety resource available through our SchoolTV page. This resource provides practical guidance for parents to help support children in navigating the online world safely and confidently.
Open communication between home and school is key to child safety. We invite families to talk regularly with their children about who they can go to if they feel worried or unsafe, both online and offline. Guided by our Catholic values, we remain committed to providing a caring, supportive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and heard.
Kindest,
