St Mary’s School Advisory Council 2026
St Mary’s School Advisory Council meet this week for the first time to launch into our 2026 year. The SAC is a vibrant and vocal group of parents who support bot the school and our community.
This weeks meeting focussed on;
- Exploring the CESL Cultural Covenant
- The roles & responsibilities of the SAC
- St Mary’s Annual Action Plan 2026
- Welcoming new members
- Child Safe Standards
- Consultation on community connections with families & local experiences
- Future conversations for enrolment success

How Parents can work in Partnership with St Mary’s...
In the spirit of continuing our partnership with families, we warmly invite you to share your interests and availability by completing the short survey included in this newsletter. Throughout the year, our school hosts a variety of events that rely on the support and involvement of our community.
We understand that ongoing commitments, such as joining a parent committee, may not be possible for everyone. However, there are many opportunities to support individual events in ways that are flexible and manageable for families. This expression of interest will help us connect with families as events arise, strengthening community involvement and contributing to the success of our school activities.
