Halfway There

We’ve reached hump week of term 1. It is a great moment to pause, breathe, and reset together. As learning and routines stay busy, taking mindful moments can make a big difference to our wellbeing. Mindfulness helps us notice how we’re feeling, calm our minds, and enjoy the small moments that matter.

We encourage families to build in simple mindful moments at home, sharing a quiet walk, taking a few deep breaths together, enjoying a screen-free meal, or noticing sounds and sights around you. These little pauses help children (and grown-ups!) feel more settled, focused, and connected.

As part of Mindful March, families are also invited to join in our Mindful March Walks. These are a wonderful way to slow down, move your body, and be present together — noticing nature, chatting, or simply walking quietly side by side. See the attached Mindful Walks poster for some ideas to focus on during your walks
