As many in our community know, it is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Karyn, a active member of our POPS community.

Those who knew of Karyn’s battle over the past year will be aware of the challenges she and her family have faced, and of the courage and strength she showed throughout.

Karyn was a devoted mother to Eloise (Year 11), Liam (Year 8), and Pat (Year 5), and a loving wife to Paul. Over the past ten years, she has been a familiar and valued presence and contributor to a variety of events at POPS, deeply connected to many families and staff, always ready with a warm smile or a cheeky joke.

Karyn was also an active member of the wider community, involved in local sporting clubs and known for the warmth, energy, and connection she brought to those around her.

She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her children’s wellbeing and education, and her humour, and spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Paul, Eloise, Liam, Pat, and with Karyn’s parents Malcolm and Benita, her brother David, sister‑in‑law Suzanne, and their families and friends during this incredibly sad and difficult time.
